Fed: Protesters wrestled to ground during Rudd speech

The prime minister's launch of his greenhouse gas reduction plan was thrown into disarray today .. when three female protesters marched on him and were wrestled to the ground.
During a televised speech at the National Press Club .. the three young environmentalists approached KEVIN RUDD .. heckling his plans on climate change.
A group of security officers and Press Club staff restrained the young women and ejected them from the venue.
The government has plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by five to 15 per cent by 2020 .. a target slammed by environmental groups.
It's understood the protesters are from Rising Tide Australia .. an environmental activist group based in Newcastle.
